Barb suggested we request a definite date when the Christmas decorations will be put up next year. The question of brackets was also discussed at length. Frank suggested we use the bracket we have the most of and order more of that same bracket from Bronner’s, then have the ornaments welded to work with those brackets. Other possibilities were to have the company that puts the ornaments up have brackets made, etc. The decision was to investigate Frank’s suggestion and then come back to this issue.
Judy also pointed out that tree branches need to be trimmed before the ornaments are hung next year. After discussion the decision was to check with the village and see if they will trim the branches if the Portage Lake Association buys the saw. Barb is to approach the village.
