(PAST Minutes): August, 2006 | May 2006 | April 2006 | March 2006 | January 2006 | October 2005 | September 2005 | May, 2005 | April, 2005The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by Barb Wolverton, President. Those in attendance were Barb Wolverton, Dave Combs, Roger Coty, Jim Simons, Chuck Reed, Judy Blackmore, Beverly Bauer, and Margaret Punches.
The Treasurer’s report was presented and discussed. Jim moved we accept the report, Margaret seconded the motion, and it was accepted unanimously.
Chuck requested that we send a bill to anyone whose ads in the fundraiser program have not been paid for. We all agreed.
Unpaid 2006 dues were also discussed. It was agreed that past due notices should be sent.
The minutes for the October meeting were read and approved.
Old Business: Watershed Portage Lake Association work is continuing. (Info attached as .doc)
Roger has received the aerial photographs. There are extra books and calendars in Paul’s office. The calendars are $8.00. Margaret suggested that we could possibly sell some of these items at the After Thanksgiving Bazaar, held in the Farr Center. She will look into this.
We were given an update on the Christmas Decorations an banners: Judy is meeting with Christine this weekend.
The Fall Festival was poorly attended because of weather. The net loss was $218.80. There was discussion about using a fairgrounds building next year, but no decision was made.
New Business: Election ballots go out this week. New officers take office in January.
Celebration of lights envelopes are in. We definitely need more advertising and promotion for this event. Beth is in charge and has promised to do more.
Margaret is working on the concerts for 2007.
Paul is to report on the Portage Lake Associationnning commission and their 5 year Portage Lake Associationn next month.
Our next meeting is December 6.
