2023 Concerts in the Park

Join us for Concerts in the Park, Monday nights June 26th - Aug 14.

Concerts begin at 7:00pm and are free to the public.

We gladly accept donations for this event online and during the concerts.
Bring lawn, chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, family, children, friends, etc.

Rain Venue - the Onekama Community Schools Cafeteria. Decision will be announced on our

1, - Onekama, Michigan Facebook page at 5pm the day of the concert.

Come and catch up with old friends, check out the stage, see what a great addition is to our park and Kick off Summer 2024,

We will have 3 bands playing:

Doc and Donna Probes, Truck Driver Bingo and The Feral Cats Deluxe.

CONCERT LINE UP/ARTIST SPOTLIGHTS

The Shrock Brothers JULY 1

The Schrock Brothers is an Americana, original, roots, and rock band trio from west Michigan, consisting of brothers Andrew and Jason Schrock and their father Mark Schrock on guitars, bass, and mandolin, Michael Shimmin on drums, and Peter Madcat Ruth on harmonica. The group has played at numerous clubs, breweries, and festivals through the years. Peter Madcat Ruth is a Grammy award-winning harmonica player who has played around the world, including many tours with the late jazz legend Dave Brubek.

The Benzie Playboys JULY 15

K. Jones and The Benzie Playboys are one of the most popular bands in the area, bringing the roots sound of southwest Louisiana’s Creole, Cajun, Zydeco scene to the Great Lakes. According to the group, “K. Jones & The Benzie Playboys are dedicated to keeping the Cajun/Creole music alive with live performances for two-steppin’, waltzing, and smoking red hot zydeco dancing.” The group has been a favorite of fans at past Monday Night Concerts in the Park performances, and has made regular appearances at festivals like BlissFest, Empire Hops and Harvest Fest, and Benzie Bayo. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Jim Hawley JULY 22

Traverse City based nationally touring artist playing originals and classic covers. Among Michigan's finest singers and performers and for many years he has been privileged to play for audiences all over the country. Jim sings with the "passion of the heart", and he brings joy to all who experience his "one of a kind" performance!

BVO JULY 29

From Manistee, MI BVO plays music from the 60's, 70's & 80"s. A lilttle bit of country and YES, a dance band!

Jake Slater as Elvis AUGUST 5

Jake Slater is a National & International Award Winning Elvis Tribute Artist based out of Michigan and that is also available for travel. Jake has performed all over Michigan, across the country, and as well as Canada. He showcases a professional family friendly show and performs all eras of Elvis music, the 1950s, 1960's, & the 1970's.
