SEPTEMBER

Saturday September 11th 10:30 AM - 11:30am Patriot Day in the ParkNorth Point Park - Patriot Day - a tribute to those killed and injured on September 11, 2001. We honor first responders, and countless others who serve to defend the nation’s freedom at home and around the globe. This year is the twentieth anniversary of 9/11. Join us on a peaceful stroll or roll in the park to honor this important day. Special gift for veterans and first responders. Crafts for kids. 
 

Saturday September 11th 11:30 AM - Planting for Pollinators North Point Park - Help local pollinator health and native habitat, join us in planting pollinator host plants; so easy, everyone can do it! Plant one, plant a dozen, all abilities are welcome! Learn who the pollinators are, what plants they like, and why pollinators are so important to you! Butterfly craft for kids. All who volunteer may take a pollinator plant home! 
 

Thursday September 9th 7pm - Fall Migration Bird Walk 1 - North Point Park - As we enter fall migration, learn who to look for, who is moving through , and where they are headed! Join Dr. Brian Allen at these educational walks along the trails and use your senses to identify birds that may be here for just a moment or may stay for the winter. Two dates, register for either or both. Learn about your local birds!
