The Township Office is closed to the Public until further notice.  The office personnel can be reached via phone 231-889-3308 or email addresses listed.

NOTICE: May 5 Election will be Absentee Ballot ONLY.  The Election Bureau will be sending each registered voter an Absentee Ballot APPLICATION.  If you have already received an Application from the Township Clerk and returned it, you are all set and don’t need to complete another one.  If you have any questions, please contact Shelli at 231-889-3308 Ext 201.

NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Onekama Township is following guidelines for conducting meetings in compliance under Executive Order 2020-15  and the Open Meetings Act, 1973 PA 267 as amended, MCL 15.261 to 15.272, effective until April 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm.
The Township Board will continue with the Budget Meeting/Public Hearing on Monday, March 23, at 9 am. Roll Call Votes are required to avoid any questions as to how each member of the board votes.

The public and board members may attend via conference call. Instructions to join the call  are as follows:

NOTICE: The Two Lake Sewer Authority (TLSA) meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the Bear Lake Township Hall.

RECYCLING: Recycling bins (cans, plastic, glass, cardboard & paper)

are now in Onekama township parking lot for your convenience.

Please recycle responsibly.

 

AUXILIARY AIDS/SERVICES: Onekama Township will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services. Onekama Township requires two weeks notice of the need for such aids.

NOTE: Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Onekama Township Clerk.
