It has been a project of the Onekama Village and Township Community Parks and Recreation Committee since that time. A conceptual master plan was created in 2001-2002 by Landscape Architect Warren Rauhe from ideas and models by Landscape Architecture Program students in Rauhe’s Small Town Design Initiative at Michigan State University. Included in this Park is the Blanche Miller Trail, which has an asphalt-paved 3,203-foot Long Loop, a crushed-stone 1,134-foot Short Loop, and an unpaved 2,730-foot Primitive Loop. The Park is named for North Point on which it is located.
